My Favorite Photography Travel Backpack

Why I love my Wandrd Prvke Photography Backpack

Wandrd Backpack

There are so many bags out there that try and fill a need all travel photographers have: carrying gear. I’ve tried my fair share of those bags, and while no bag has been the absolute “perfect” fit, my Wandrd Prvke bag is about as close as I’ve gotten to perfect.

For my Prvke backpack, I use the 31-liter option. I went back and forth between getting the smaller backpack vs the larger, but decided that have the option of more space was worth the cost. Since purchasing my Wandrd Prvke backpack, I have lugged this thing around the U.S.—through airports, on alpine hikes, on multi-day bikepacking trips, and even use it when I photograph wedding days.

It’s my go-to camera bag and I pretty much never go without it.

I love the versatility of the backpack and the fact that I can easily adjust it for whatever type of project I’m using it for; The hip straps can come off if I don’t need them, the roll-top allows for size variability, and the hidden rain cover compartment keeps the gear pockets free of clutter (and keep me from accidentally forgetting the rain cover on a hike).

Even though the bag can hold a lot (thanks to the roll-top feature!) I can always fit it under the seat in front of me as my personal bag on airline flights.

All in all, if you’re looking for a good travel backpack to hold your camera gear (and then some), the Wandrd Prvke 31L Backpack might be the perfect fit!
